More About the Tour
Our tour program starts at 08:00-09:00 in the morning. We will pick you up at the security gate of your hotel and head to an amazing place just 45 km from Alanya - Sapadere Canyon.
The transfer to the canyon is done in convertible buses. The journey won't take long.
From the convertible bus, you will have an unobstructed view as the beautiful sea landscape gradually changes to a mountainous one. Our first stop is the village of Kargydzhak, Alanya.
We will stop here for 15-20 minutes to enjoy the panoramic view of the city, the beach, the Mediterranean Sea, and, of course, the majestic mountains. You can have a photo session and receive general information about the tour.
We continue our journey as the convertible bus turns onto a forest trail along the Taurus Mountains, leading to the most tranquil and secluded area of Alanya, Demirtas.
In Demirtas, we will also make a brief 15-minute stop for information.
The excursion continues deeper into the mountains. The next stop is at the Yoruk tent. Here, you can rest, try delicious gozleme prepared by local women, enjoy the stunning views, and take photos. This stop will last 20-30 minutes.
Next, we head to the Dwarf Cave. The entrance fee to the cave is $3. The cave is relatively small, only 150 meters long, but quite colorful: stalactites, stalagmites, narrow passages, and grottos. The air temperature is always +20°C.
Tourists who do not wish to visit the cave can spend this time at their discretion, for example, exploring the nearby surroundings.
You will have 45 minutes to visit the Dwarf Cave.
The next stop, lasting 1-1.5 hours, will be in Sapadere Canyon.
This gorge is truly a unique place and a protected area, carefully guarded by the government. In 2008, Sapadere Canyon was opened to the public. A suspended wooden walkway was built for the comfort of tourists, extending 700 meters into the gorge, with steps leading to swimming areas marked with signs indicating the depth of the natural pool. Note that the water temperature is always no more than +12°C. Additionally, the canyon is rich in waterfalls, which you will encounter along your way, and at the end of the route, there is a large waterfall where you can swim.
The next point of our journey is the village of Sapadere, located on the historic Silk Road. Here, you can observe village life, spend time at the local market, and enjoy a cup of tea that will refresh you in the heat and quench your thirst.
As lunchtime approaches, we will head to the restaurant. Lunch includes trout or chicken, as well as other dishes presented in a buffet format.
After replenishing your energy on this intense tour, you will head back.
On the way back to the hotel, you will visit another interesting place - an ancient stone bridge in the shape of an arch, built by the Romans, connecting the banks of a small mountain stream. This place is very beautiful and somewhat magical, so we will stop here for a photo session.
Between 16:00 and 17:00, you will return to your hotels. Our tour has ended.
