About the Attractions

FIRE OF ANATOLIA

  • Fire of Anatolia (Anadolu Atesi) is a Turkish dance ensemble, one of the largest in the world, twice listed in the Guinness World Records for the fastest dance performance and for an audience of 400,000 during a performance in Ereğli.
  • The group consists of 250 dancers, several choreographers, and costume designers. There is also a consultant specializing in history, archaeology, and folk traditions. The troupe can perform in multiple locations simultaneously. According to the founder of Anadolu Atesi, Mustafa Erdogan, also known as the Sultan of Dance, each performance should not just be a dance or a colorful show. The main goal is to convey the history of modern Turkey and the civilizations that existed here through the language of dance. Each performance is a burst of emotions and feelings, blending various styles: classical ballet, contemporary dance, and world folk dances. In a single performance, you can enjoy elegant belly dance, ancient dervish dance, and dynamic lezginka; complete with swords, daggers, and flaming torches. The perfectly chosen music, thematic costumes, and decorations add even more spectacle to the performance.
  • During your holiday, you can also attend one of their legendary performances – "The Evolution of Fire" or "Troy" and enjoy the flawless work of the dancers and the synchronization of their movements.
  • The "Fire of Anatolia" show takes place outdoors, exclusively in the evening, so be sure to bring warm clothes for the excursion. A few years ago, the artists performed in the famous ancient theater of Aspendos, but to preserve this unique archaeological and historical monument, the event has been moved to the modern "Gloria Aspendos Arena".
