More about the tour
Our tour program starts from 09:30-10:00 in the morning. We will pick you up from your hotel's security gate and head for rafting on the Kepreuchay river, which flows in the Koprulu Canyon National Park. The Kepreuchay river, fed by rain, snow, and underground waters, is a full-flowing source with a strong current and is perfect for rafting in Turkey.
After arriving at the rafting center, our instructor will familiarize you with safety techniques and water behavior rules. After changing into spare clothes or swimsuits, you will be given the necessary protective gear (helmet, life vest), and you will head to the starting platform.
Rafting is done on large inflatable rafts that can accommodate up to 8 people. Your group will be divided into teams of 6-8 people, each led by an experienced instructor. The entire route is divided into two stages of 7.5 kilometers, with short breaks in between for rest. During this time, you can relax, swim in the river, and take photos.
After completing the second rafting stage on the turbulent river waters, a tasty and filling lunch awaits you. There will also be free time for those who wish to swim in the cool mountain river water, view the photos and videos taken by the operator of your rafting adventure, and purchase them. Afterward, you'll head back to the hotel.
The transfer will bring you back to the hotel between 18:30 and 19:30 in the evening.

Things to do
RAFTING
Rafting is an extreme sport that is considered very accessible and safe. It involves traveling down a mountain river on an inflatable raft, overcoming water obstacles and rapids.
Even a person with no experience can feel incredible joy, an adrenaline rush, and a sense of self-worth from being able to handle the roaring, fast-flowing mountain river almost independently. All you need for success is to pay close attention to the safety briefing, which the instructor will provide on land, and in the water, you must accurately and flawlessly follow all the commands of your experienced guide.
All rafting routes in Turkey have a level 2, sometimes level 3 difficulty, suitable for both beginners and advanced rafters. The pure time spent on the water is approximately 2 hours. Active paddling is always alternated with rest on land.
The ideal time for rafting is from June to September because even on the hottest days, the river water temperature will be 10 - 12C.
KOPRULU CANYON
Vacationers in such Turkish resort cities as Antalya, Kemer, Alanya, Belek, and Side often visit the Koprulu Canyon National Park for rafting. This park is near the village of Beşkonak in the Manavgat district, which is located about 90 km from the center of Antalya.
Koprulu Canyon National Park was founded in 1973 and covers an area of 366,140 hectares. The reserve is named after the canyon formed by the Köprüçay River between the villages of Beşkonak and Balaşan. In Turkey, the Koprulu Canyon is considered the largest. It is 14 km long and its walls rise up to 100 meters. In some places, the walls of the canyon are almost impossible to climb.
The Köprüçay River, or Köprü, begins in the Taurus Mountains. Passing through natural canyons and filling up with underground waters from them, it flows into the Mediterranean Sea south of the city of Serik. The river is 183 kilometers long. As it is a full-fledged water source with a strong current both in summer and winter, the Köprüçay is ideal for rafting and other water sports.
It is worth noting that the Koprulu Canyon National Park is one of the most beautiful natural recreation zones in Turkey. It hosts the largest natural cypress forest in the entire Mediterranean region, covering an area of 400 hectares. Its rich fauna includes 48 rare and endangered species. Of these, 44 are found only here, making them endemic species; 5 species are on the brink of extinction globally; 4 species are nationally endangered; and 39 species are under threat of extinction in Europe.
In the reserve, you can observe the mountain goat and the black salamander, and admire how the Anatolian vulture and the white-headed vulture soar in the sky.
There are also many historical and archaeological sites in the park, such as castles, aqueducts, roads, and ancient bridges. For instance, the most famous among tourists is the ancient Roman Oluk Bridge, which connects the two parts of the Koprulu Canyon. It can be confidently considered as the iconic entrance and a visiting card of the nature park.
To the west of the Köprüçay River, in the mountainous region, lie the ruins of the ancient city of Selge, which was founded in the 5th century BC. From the once-magnificent city, not much remains today: an ancient theater, agora, cisterns, aqueducts, and the temples of Zeus and Artemis.
